Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized a reception program to Shahida Perveen, a woman entrepreneur and investment client of its Local Office Corporate Branch on 18 January 2021, Monday at Islami Bank Tower for achieving the first position in the ‘President’s Industrial Development Award 2018’ in the micro industry category. Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank addressed the program as chief guest. Muhammad Qaisar Ali and Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Additional Managing Directors and Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, Deputy Managing Director of the bank addressed the program as the special guest. JQM Habibullah, FCS and Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors, Md. Mamun Khan, CEO of Trim Tex Bangladesh along with employees of both organizations were present in the program. Md. Anisul Haque, Head of Local Office Corporate Branch made the welcome speech while Md. Rafiqul Islam, Head of SME Investment Division-II of the bank thanked the audience.
Shahida Parveen, the Proprietor of M/s. Trim Tex Bangladesh has been running the business successfully since 2014 with an investment from IBBL. She manufactures a total of 135 items of jute products including garment accessories. The products of her organization have been gaining recognition in the country and abroad including winning the National SME Entrepreneur Award. – Press release
