Dhaka – An imam of a local mosque was found dead at his house at Krishnarampur village in Noakhali municipality area on Thursday night.Anwar Hossain, officer-in-charge of Sudharampur Model Police Station, said being informed by locals, police recovered the throat-slit body of Jahurul Haq Jahir, 50, imam of a mosque of the village, around 11:30 pm and sent it to Noakhali General Hospital morgue,UNB News Agences Reported.Quoting family members, police said the Imam had been suffering from mental disorder and he committed suicide by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon.Police also recovered a sharp weapon from the spot.
