Dhaka – Police arrested an Indian citizen from Niribilipara in Chowgachha upazila in Jessore on Sunday night on charges of smuggling.The arrestee was identified as Ayub Ali Biswas, 40, son of Bahar Ali Biswas, hailing from Kulnandapur area under Baghda thana in North 24Pargana district of India,UNB news agency reported.Jamal Uddin, sub-inspector of Chowgachha Police Station, said a team of police conducted a drive in the house of one Khalilur Rahman in the area around 9.30pm and arrested Ayub along with drugs and a sack of smuggled Indian shoes.
