Indonesia Open: Siddikur’s cut sees bumpy show

Dhaka – Bangladesh’s star golfer Siddikur Rahman has stayed in the race of the US$500,000 Bank BRI Indonesia Open, making the cut with one-over joint 66th place after the second round at the Pondok Indah Golf Course in Jakarta on Friday.The two-time Asian tour winner Siddikur aggregated one-over-par 147, a second-round one-under-par 71, remained 12 shots behind the joint leader Natipong Srithong [Thailand] and Justin Harding [South Africa].
Siddikur traded four birdies against three bogies on the second day, following a two-over-par 74 with a worse on the opening day where he birdied against two bogies and a triple bogey.
Siddikur putted the par-four 3rd hole with a birdie before bogies in the par-three 5th and par-four 7th holes to end the first-9.
He traded a bogey in the par-four 10th to start the next session and recovered with three birdies in the par-four 11th and 13th before par-five 14th. He shared the 66th place with 10 other players.UNB
