Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) organized Inter Department Badminton & Handball Competition kicked off on 8 January 2017 and Final Matches were held on 30 January 2017 amidst much verve and fervor by the contestants and students.
In the Badminton Competition, Single Boy of BBA (General) defeated Law, Single Girl of Journalism defeated BBA (General) and Doubles Boys of BBA (General) defeated Accounting and Information System, Doubles Girls Economics defeated BBA (General) in their respective matches. In the Handball Competition, Department of Economics defeated Development Studies and BBA (General) defeated International Relations in their respective matches. Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Brig Gen Ridwan-Al-Mahmood, ndc, afwc, psc was present and handed over prizes among the teams. Besides, there were also present BUP High Officials and Students.
