The book fair of New york is an ideal place of interaction among the Bengali poets, writers, literature, journalists and publishers.Bengali language has achieved the dignity of International mother Language all over the world. The New York Book fair has turned into a cynosure of Bangla Languge and culture outside the country.
The Bangladesh Govt. declared grant of 35000 usd for this book fair.
The organisers Rukyea Haider, head of the Bangla department of Voice of America said she hoped that the grant will be utilised this year from the Bangladesh Govt.
