Islamic Foundation Bangladesh (IFB) at a meeting with noted
Olamaye-Mashaekhs here yesterday afternoon fixed Taka 65 as Fitra per
head for the people of the district this year.
Rangpur district office of the IFB convened the Fitra-fixing meeting
at its office with its Deputy Director Alhaj Mohammad Saidur Rahman
Sayed in the chair.
Noted Olamaye-Mashaekhs of the city including Peer Saheb Hazrat
Moulana Shah Ahammad Sayeed of Barkotia Khanka Sharif, Khatib of
Nababganj Bazaar Jam-e-Mosque Moulana Mofidul Islam Chowdhury,
Principal of Mulatol Madinatul Ulum Alia Madrasha MA Abdus Sobhan,
District unit President of National Trained Imam Society Moulana
Joynal Abedin and Imam of Court Jam-e-Mosque Moulana Muhammad Zahidul
Islam Zahid, participated in the meeting.
After elaborate discussions in the meeting, the Olamaye-Mashaekhs
fixed the rate of Fitra at Taka 65 per head after calculating the
prevailing market price of 1.65 kilogram best quality flour. – BSS
