Admission test for the first year Honours courses in 2013-14 academic session of Islamic University (IU) scheduled to be held from November 30 to December 4 has been postponed following the 71-hour non-stop blockade.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Admission Test Committee, held at the VC’s office on Wednesday chaired by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Abdul Hakim Sarker.
Pro-VC Professor Dr M Shahinoor Rahman, Registrar Dr Moslem Uddin, Proctor Professor Dr M Jahangir Hossain, Students Adviser Professor Dr M Mahbubur Rahman, all Units coordinators, among others, were present.
Detail information of the new admission test schedules will be published on the university website www.iu.ac.bd as soon as the exam dates are finalised. -BSS, Islamic University
