IUBAT nursing-students call on Health Minister

A delegation of bachelor nursing students of IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology met  Prof. Dr. Ruhal Haque, minister of health and family welfare, and expressed appreciation for his policy direction for  the quality and overall  development of nursing profession in Bangladesh.Six member delegation headed by Dr.Karen Lund, a Canadian Nursing expert long been associated with IUBAT College of Nursing and undertaking wide ranging research for finding ways and means  for professional  development of nursing. The delegation appraised the health minister of the steps taken by IUBAT for  producing educated and quality nurses in line with global changes  to cope with  ever expanding need of healthcare management services in the country.
Talking to students of nursing  Prof. Dr. Ruhal Haque informed them about the government’s policy towards reduction of poor doctor-nurse ratio in the country. The minister assured some measures to be streamlined for producing greater number of quality nurses to ensure better healthcare management in  the greater public interest. – Press release
