Savar, Dhaka 10 Jan – The Jahangirnagar University (JU) is going to celebrate its 48th founding anniversary on Friday amid enthusiasm and festivity on the campus.On the occasion, the university authorities have planned a daylong program, says a press release from JU Public Relations Office (PRO) yesterday.
On the day, the national and university flags will be hoisted at 9:30am in front of the Business Studies Faculty.
Following this, a colorful rally will be brought out while Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Farzana Islam is expected to inaugurate the program.
Later, a puppet show and a cake fair will be held followed by a cultural extravaganza, at the Selim Al Deen Muktamancha, organized by Students’ Welfare and Counselling Center.
The program will conclude with a cultural session, organized by Teacher and Student Center (TSC).
Students, teachers, employees and officials are requested to attend the program. – JU Correspondent
