The nayabe ameer of Lohagara Jamaat-e-Islami Badsha Miah, 45, was arrested from Baka village of the upazila of the district on Friday.Police sources said, acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested him.A number of cases, including charges of sabotage, are pending against him, the sources added.
