Police recovered hacked body of a local leader of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra
Dal (JCD) from Battala area of Domar upazila headquarters on Thursday
morning.
The deceased was identified as Rakib Hasan Pappu, 22, joint convener
of Domar Government College unit Chhatra Dal and son of Belal Hossain
of Paltanpara of the town.
Locals spotted the hacked body of Pappu tied with rope in the area
after Fajr prayers and informed police.
Police recovering the body took it to Domar Police Station.
Police suspected that old rivalry could be the reason behind the murder.
The motorcycle of the deceased was also found missing.
