KHULNA – Police arrested Khulna city unit Jatiytabadi Chhatradal (JCD, student wing of the BNP, President Arifur Rahman Arif in front of his residence in Sher-e-Bangla area of the district last night.Officer-in-Charge of Khulna Kotwali Police Station Md Shafiqul Islam said,on secret information, police arrested him from the area at about 9.30 pm on charges of subversive activities.
“He was accused in several cases including political violence in 2014 and 2015,” the OC said, adding that Arif has sent to jail today.(BSS)
