Dhaka- Thakurgaon District will play Rangpur District in the final match of the JFA U-14 National Women’s Football Championship’2019 at Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Friday.
The final match will begin at 3:15 pm.
Thakurgaon reached to the final eliminating Mymensingh in penalty shootout (3-2) as the first semifinal between the two teams was locked 1-1 goals in the regulation time this afternoon.
Shathi Akter scored for Thakurgaon in the 36th minute while Ranjana leveled the margin for Mymesingh in the 44th minute (1-1).
In penalty shootout, Ranjana, Jahanara, Israt scored for Thakurgaon while Hafsa and Jarina Manda netted for Mymensingh.
In day’s second semifinal match, Rangpur District defeated Magura District by 1-0 goal at the same venue.Liza Begum scored the match-winner for Rangpur in the 9th minute (1-0).UNB
