JP finds TIB report on opposition biased

Jatiya Party has termed the report of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) “partial” and “biased.”
In a press statement, opposition leader’s political secretary Golam Mosih protested the TIB report saying that it is apparently influenced by a quarter and it is not expected from the TIB.“As the Caretaker government was a new concept, It is also a new concept of Jatiya Party to be a part of both the government and the opposition. This concept is available in many countries in the world,” he said in the statement.
He further said they would extend their support to the good initiative of the government and lodge protest against its misdeeds.
Referring to the comments of the TIB executive for holding a fresh election, Golam Mosih regretted that the BNP had made a record by remaining absent from the Parliament sessions. “We do not want to see its recurrence,” he added.
He claimed that the Jatiya Party has been playing a pivotal role to make Parliament effective and to uphold the interest of the people. – Staff Reporter
