An activist of Jubo League, the youth associate body of Awami League, was gunned down by unidentified miscreants at Anandipur in Ramganj upazila on Monday evening. The victim was identified as Saiful Islam, son of Mofizul Islam of Fatehpur village and worker of Jubo League Karpara union unit. Victim’s brother Firoz Alam said the miscreants fired several gun shots at Saiful around 7.30pm at Anandipur on his way back home from Laxmipur sadar. He died on the spot. The body was sent to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. – UNB
