Jahangirnagar University Debate Organization (JUDO) declared a new executive committee on Saturday for next one year and organized 11th anniversary also 8th inter hall debate competition.Sheikh Rahat Rahman of Archaeology Department and Shahin Reza of Law and Justice Department were made president and general secretary of the executive committee respectively, said a press statement.
JU Vice Chancellor Prof Farzana Islam inaugurated the programe as the chief guest while honorable moderator of JUDO and chairman of History Department Prof ATM Atikur Rahman and founding President of JUDO Abdullah Ahmed Choudhary Mamun attended as special guest.
Al-Beruni hall achieve the championship of 8th inter hall debate contest defeating Shaheed Salam Barkat hall while 13 residential dormitories took part the competition.
The programme presided by outgoing JUDO president Sabbir Ahmed of Economics department.
