Dhaka- Muslims across the country observed Jumatul Wida, the last Friday of Ramadan, with due religious fervour and reverence.Jumatul Wida has a special importance as it is a prelude to the departure of holy month of Ramadan.
A large number of fasting devotees attended Juma prayers at mosques across the country. The biggest congregation was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital.
Special munajats were offered seeking divine blessings for peace and progress of the country and the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
During the Juma prayers, imams and khatibs delivered sermons on the importance of Ramadan, Eitekaf, Eid-ul-Fitr and other religious issues, and exhorted the faithful to submit themselves to the will of Almighty Allah.UNB
