Pirojpur – A brilliant hat-trick by Junaid enabled Kawkhali Govt High School to earn eight-wicket victory over Town High School in the Pirojpur District phase of the Prime Bank Bangabandhu National School Cricket Tournament at Pirojpur District Stadium on Wednesday.
Batting first, Town High School were bundled out cheaply for 93 runs with Sajib scoring not out 27 and Zihad 16 runs.
Junaid bowled devastating in the match to make the 2nd hat-trick of the tournament grabbing six wickets conceding 26 runs. Later he was adjudged man of the match.
In reply, Kawkhali Govt High School reached their target scoring the match-winner for the loss of two wickets, with 23 overs to spare. Hridoy scored 30 while Ankur and Siam scored 16 runs each for the Kawkhali HS.UNB
