Khaleda doubts if BGB has strong position along border”

Khaleda alleged that the government has also no initiative to make the border force stronger and intensify border vigilance.
Referring to the abduction of BGB Nayek Abdur Razzak by Myanmar Border Guard Police (BGP), Khaleda said, “You (people) all know how smart and strong our border force was. Now Myanmar border force picks up our BGB member. How this regime damaged the country’s dignity. They’ve destroyed our border force, police and every institution.”Eight days after his abduction, Myanmar border force returned BGB Nayek Abdur Razzak on June 25 following a flag meeting held at Maungdaw of Myanmar.
On June 17, BGP picked up Razzak while patrolling Jadimura canal area near Domdomia Border Outpost of Teknaf.
BNP-led 20-party’s component Labour Party arranged the iftar party at the city’s Ladies Club.
Khaleda alleged that a vested quarter as part of its deep-rooted conspiracy installed Awami League in power to destroy the nation. ”There’re now various moves to keep Awami League in power for a long time.”
The BNP chief urged the country’s people to get united and put up a strong resistance against unjust, repression and corruption.
Khaleda termed the current parliament ineffective and said no important issue of public interest is discussed there. “Parliament has now turned into a music club.”
To get rid of the sordid state of the country, she said there is no alternative to holding an inclusive and fair election.
She came down hard on the Election Commission saying the whole world knows it very well that a credible election is not possible under it. “It’s an infective and worthless Commission. Even the Chief Election Commissioner doesn’t have the courage to speak the truth.”
