Dhaka, Mar 1 – A schoolboy, who was stabbed allegedly by his two friends over a trifling matter at Pashchim Shewrapara in the city’s Mirpur area on Tuesday night, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Wednesday morning.The victim was identified as Sajib, 16, class IX student of Holy Crescent School and College.
Quoting Babu, brother-in-law of Sajib, sub-inspector Bachchu Miah, in-charge of DMCH police camp, said Sajib had an altercation with his two friends over a trifling matter around 10.30pm pn Tuesday.
At one stage, his friends stabbed Sajib with a knife indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured.
Sajib was admitted to the DMCH where he succumbed to his injures around 8.00am on Wednesday. – UNB
