The Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, cancelled his scheduled visit to Bangladesh on March 25.
He was set to visit the country to attend the programme marking the 42nd Independence and National Day of the country.
Concerned sources said the Amir has canceled the tour for attending a special meeting of Arab League which will be held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on March 26-27.
Earlier in October 2012, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah expressed his willingness to visit Bangladesh as a special guest on the occasion of the 42nd Independence and National Day of Bangladesh when President Md.
