DHAKA, April 2, 2019 (BSS) – The holy Lailat-ul-Miraj will be observed in the country tomorrow night in religious festivity and befitting manner.
Marking the holy night, Islamic Foundation (IF) will arrange a waz and milad mahfil on the importance and significance of Lailat-ul-Miraj at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in the capital after Asar prayers tomorrow, an IF press release said.
Imam of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Hafez Moulana Mohammad Mohiuddin Qasim will deliver a lecture at the waz mahfil with IF secretary Kazi Nurul Islam in the chair.
It is perhaps no exaggeration to claim Lailat-ul-Miraj as the most momentous occasion in the annals of not only the entire human race but of all creations.
It was on this auspicious Night that the Creator enabled a creation to reach, through a long Journey immeasurable by mortal reckoning, the “Sublime Throne,” achieve the closest proximity to Him, and “see of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest” in full bloom.
The journey of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and his ascent is marked as one of the most celebrated dates in the Islamic calendar.
