Rajshahi, July 6 – A major change has been brought to the admission test system of Rajshahi University (RU) annulling the MCQ system of the previous year. University Vice-chancellor Professor DDrM Abdus Sobhan confirmed it to the journalists while addressing the function 65th anniversary of the university.
In new system students have to face written exam of 2 hours long in a creative method.
On the other hand, Units numbers have also been minimized in to 4 units this year. The admission tests of four units will be held in two days. 22 and 29 October are proposed dates of the admission tests that to be passed in the academic council.
On the other hand, students will have to face two phase in the admission test. In the first phase students will be selected to sit for the exam and 2 nd phase they will take part finally.
Selected students will be informed of downloading admit card and the registration fee will be cut at then.
Whether students will get the chance to sit for 2 nd time it will informed in later. – RU Correspondent
