A man was beaten to death allegedly by his nephew over a family feud at Noadanga village in Fulbari upazila on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Kader Bux, 57, son of late Bachchu Miah, a resident of the village.Locals and family sources said there had been a longstanding conflict between Kader Bux and his nephew Ayenul Haque of the same village over a family-related issued.On the fateful day, Ayenul along with his mother Ambia Khatun and his elder brother Sairul Haque beat Kader mercilessly centering a similar issue in the morning, leaving him dead on the spot.As the news of Kader’s death spread, local people rushed in and caught Ayenul and Ambia.Later they handed the duo over to police.Police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy.Kader’s son Shahidul Islam filed a murder case against four people.Bazlur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Fulbari Police Station, confirmed the incident. -UNB, Kurigram
