A pick-up van driver was killed as a speedy train hit him while passing a level crossing at Kosaibari of Dakshin Khan in the city on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Md Abdul Karim, 40, son of late Md Kashem of Rajapur village in Feni district.Witnesses said a running train hit Karim when he was passing the level crossing, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at about 5:00 pm. – UNB
