Members of the Detective Branch of police arrested a man along with 300 bottles of contraband phensidyl syrup from Bakal area of Sadar upazila on Sunday afternoon.The arrested was identified as Shafiqul Islam, 26, a truck helper.On a tip off, a team of the DB went to Bakal area and stopped a fish carrying truck around 1pm.Searching the truck they recovered 300 bottles of phensidyl.Police arrested the helper and seized the truck.
