A man was killed as a truck rammed his car at Nasratpur on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Sadar upazila on Tuesday morning.The deceased was identified as Tajul Islam Faruk, 60, a resident of Nurpur village. He was a former managing director of Westman Power Plant Limited.Officer-in-charge of Shayestaganj Highway Police Station Ejaj Ahmed said Tajul was going to Dhaka riding his private car in the morning.When the car reached Nasratpur, a truck rammed the vehicle around 7:30am, leaving Tajul injured.Later, he succumbed to his injuries on the way to a hospital, the OC added.UNB,Habiganj
