A man was killed in a road accident at Alipur Hatkhola intersection on the Satkhira-Kaliganj Road in Sadar upazila on Tuesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Ali Gazi, 70, son of late Kutubuddin of the area.Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said a Dhaka-bound bus of Sangram Paribahan ran over Ali Gazi while he was crossing the road in the area around 1:30pm, leaving him dead on the spot.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy. -UNB, Satkhira
