Mawa-Kewrakandi ferry service resumes after 7 hrs

Ferry plying on the Mawa-Kewrakandi route resumed on Saturday morning after seven hours of disruption due to dense fog.
Ferry service on the Mawa-Kewrakandi route remained suspended since 12:30 am due to poor visibility caused by thick fog.Thirteen ferries with 1,500 passengers got stuck in the middle of the Padma River, causing immense suffering to the travellers.
