A meeting to review the preparations of the ensuing Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination in the district was held yesterday in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Faridpur.The meeting presided over by DC Sardar Sharafat Ali was attended by the heads of schools, madrashas, vocational institutes, law enforcing agency personnel and other education concerned officials. ADC (Education and ICT) Md. Anowarul Islam conducted the meeting.DC urged upon the officials and teachers to make the ensuing SSC, Dakhil and Vocational examinations to be held from February 2 fair and corruption free. He urged upon the teachers to sincerely perform their duties observing all the rules and regulations of education boards.It was learnt from meeting sources that 14,426 students will appear in the SSC, 2,570 in Dakhil and 852 in vocational examination under the respective boards at 24 centers in the district.
Meanwhile preparations from the administration and law enforcing agencies are complete to hold the ensuing examinations in a peaceful and corruption free atmosphere. -BSS, Faridpur
