The monthly meeting on law and order was held here today at the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner (DC).
Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Chandra Biswas presided over the meeting.Advisers of the committee Ramesh Chandra Sen MP and Alhaj Dabirul Islam MP attended the meeting.Superintendent of Police (SP) Abdur Rahim Shah Chowdhury, ADM Mamunur Rashid, ADC (Gen.) Manzur Alam Pradhan, Officer of 30-BGB Major Towhid and members of the committee were present.The speakers viewed that the law and order situation of the district is now better than the previous days.No incident of petrol-bomb hurling occurred anywhere in the district, they said adding blockade and hartal became ineffective. All types of vehicles are plying in all the routes of the district, they said.The Deputy Commissioner said that the cabinet division evaluated that the law order situation of Thakurgaon district is better than other districts of the country.He urged all quarters to help the administration for ensuring smooth development of the country.BSS, Thakurgaon
