Dhaka – National all-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who is playing currently for Abahani Limited, suffered injury on his right thumb on Sunday while restricting a boundary of Shahriar Nafees of Legends of Rupganj at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
He left the field immediately and chief physician of Bangladesh Cricket Board Debashis Chowdhury said the all-rounder is now under observation for a day. After this period, it will be clear whether he needs a test or not.
He suffered the injury at the last moment of the innings of Legends of Rupganj.
Mosaddek Hossain was the bowler who delivered outside of off-stump and Shahriar Nafees drove through the cover area. Mehidy dived to restrict the boundary and sustained the injury.
Abahnai lost the match by six wickets, and at the same time, the lost the top place of the points table to Legends of Rupganj as well.UNB
