A few days ago, students were lined up at many places on streets in the country for giving receptions to new ministers or MPs. Such reports were published in the national dailies highlighting that the students were tired and hungry as they were standing for hours.This impacts badly as a whole on the new government as well as the MPs and the ministers.. The government is facing problem in pacifying the people as there was very limited participation of voters in the parliamentary election in the absence of major political parties from the race.
So, the incumbent government had to issue an order from the directorate of primary
and mass education so that students can not be used to give reception to new ministers and MPs. But our education minister Nurul Islam Naheed has said that this order will not be applicable while according reception to the president or the prime minister.
