A minor boy drowned in a pond at Ubahata village in Kamalganj upazila
of the district on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Ihan Chowdhury, 3, son of Shafiqur
Rahman of the village.
Family sources said Ihan was playing near a pond beside his house and
at one stage slipped into it and drowned.
Later locals recovered the body after a frantic search. -UNB, Moulvibazar
