A minor boy drowned in the Lachhi river in Pirganj upazila on Friday evening.The deceased was identified as Fahim,3, son of Shahiduddin, a resident of Rice Mill Para of the same upazila.Locals said Fahim slipped into water and drowned while he along with his relative was walking on the riverbank near his house at about 6:00 pm.Later, locals recovered his floating body from the river. -UNB, Thakurgaon
