A minor boy drowned in the Fuljor River in Kamarkhand upazila on Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified as Shariful Islam, 9, son of Habibur Rahman of Dhamkol village of the upazila.Family source said Shariful slipped into deep water and drowned while catching fish in the river in the evening.Local people recovered the floating body of Shariful from the spot. -UNB, Sirajganj
