A minor boy was killed in a road accident in Palsha Mission area on the Chapainawabganj-Rohonpur road under Sadar upazila of the district Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as Minhaj Ali, 6, son of Jamal Uddin of Palsha Madhyapara under Baliadanga union of the upazila.
Police and local sources said the accident occurred when a goods-laden truck hit Minhaj in the area as he was crossing the road. The boy died on the spot.
Police seized the truck but its driver escaped from the scene. –BSS, Chapainawabganj
