A minor child drowned in a pond at Talpukur village of Nandigram
municipality area under Nandigram upazila of Bogra district on
Thursday. The deceased was identified as Arafat Hossain, 2, son of
Meherul Islam of the village.
Locals said, Arafat went to take bath at a pond of the village on the
day but he drowned as he did not know how to swim. An unnatural death
case was lodged with Nandigram police
station in this regard.
