A minor girl was raped by a youth at Phulbari village in Shalikha upazila on Saturday noon.
Police said, Tushar, 18, son of Aynal Hossain of Dorishoil village of the upazila, took the girl to a nearby forest at noon when she was returning home from a neighbour’s house and raped her.Hearing her scream, local people rushed to the spot and rescued the girl. Later, she was taken to Magura Sadar Hospital in critical condition.Tushar went into hiding after the incident.A case was filed with Shalikha Police Station. -UNB, Magura
