A night guard was stabbed to death by some unidentified miscreants at Ikri bazar in Bhandaria upazila early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Abdur Rashid, 45, a night guard of Ikri Bazar.Police and witnesses said a gang of 10 to 15 armed miscreants swooped on the house of Shamsu Muhuri at dead and stabbed Shamsu and his two sons-Shahdat and Sawar, leaving the trio injured.As night guard Rashid saw the miscreants and raised a hue and cry while they were fleeing the miscreants stabbed him, leaving him dead on the spot.Police recovered the body in the morning. The injured were admitted to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.Bhandaria thana officer-in-charge Motiur Rahman said they are
