An Italian citizen sustained bullet injuries in an attack by unknown miscreants at Mirzapur BRTC bus stand in Dinajpur town on Wednesday morning.
The injured, Piyara Samio,50, is a physician of Kasba Missionary Hospital in Dinajpur.Sub-inspector of Dinajpur Kotwali Police Station Biplob Kumar Sarker said a group of miscreants riding a motorcycle opened fire on Piru in the area while he was going to his workplace in a bicycle at about 8:30 am, leaving him injured.
He was admitted to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.
Superintendent of Police of Dinajpur Ruhul Amin confirming the incident, said police are trying to track down the attackers.- News Desk
