MKA rejects TIB report

Home Minister MK Alamgir ruled out the report published by Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) about graft on Friday.

The minister claimed the law enforcers now have succeeded more in preventing crimes than that of any other times.

“The law enforcers are also playing effective role to prevent newly occurred crime incident in the country,” the minister added.

The Minister came up with such observation of Friday afternoon while talking to the reporters at capital’s Bangla Academy premises.

MK Alamgir said, “Plans are being made to tackle the crimes like money laundering and cyber crime.”

Speaking about the culprits who issued threat to the magistrates in CMM court, he said law enforcers have been trying to nab the criminals in this regard.

TIB in its report on Friday said that law enforcing agencies are the most corrupt in the scale of country’s corruption level.
