The district administration have conducted a total of 183 mobile courts on charges of various laws in different places of the district and realized Tk 6,32070, during the last three months (Feb to April 2013).The mobile courts during the period have filed 183 cases and against the cases a total of 325 persons were given punishment (325 persons fined instantly and 41 sentenced to imprisonment)
According to Deputy Commissioner office, mobile court led by the executive magistrates conducted the raids in different places of the district during the period under the mobile court laws including Motor vehicle ordinance., Pure food ordinance, Offence of public examination, Hotel and restaurant preservation ordinance, Narcotics control law, Control of brick burning law, Environs preservation law, Gambling law, Early marriage prevention law, Medicine law, Acid control law, Smoking control law etc.
