A mobile court assisted by Rapid Action Battalion(RAB) members recovered huge quantity of banned polythene bags from Bhanga Bazar under Bhanga upazilla yesterday.According to official sources, the mobile court led by Bhanga UNO Alamgir Hossain raided the main market of Bhanga upazilla and recovered 27 thousand pieces weighing 500-Kg of banned polythene bags from three shops.The source said that the price of seized bags is Taka 35 lakhs.The mobile court also fined one trader Abdur Rob Munshi to the tune of Taka ten thousand on charge of trading polythene bags.The seized polythene bags were brought to UNO office premises and were destroyed.
