Mohammedans SC meet Muktijodha KC tomorrow

Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) Limited, the champions of Group B will meet Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, the runners-up of Group A tomorrow in the second semifinal of the Grameenphone Super Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. The match starts at 6.00 pm.Marking the upcoming semi-final, a press conference was held at conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation House on Thursday.
Co-Chairman of Professional Football League of BFF Abdur Rahim, Media Manager of BFF Ashiqur Rahman, Manager of Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC) Amirul Islam Babu, Coach of MSC Saiful Bari Tito, Assistant Manager of MSC Imtiaz Ahmed Naquib, Captain of MSC Rajani Kanta Barman, Manager of Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra (MSKC) Abdus Sattar, Captain of MSKC Juhirul Islam were present at the conference.
Saiful Bari Tito said, “Every team have chance to do good. There is a competition in the tournament. The local players are taking part in the meet instead of foreign players. We have come to this stage for the performance of our players. If our players play good football, the success will be come. Semi-finals are open for the four teams. Muktijoddha are a good outfit. But that team will win which team perform in the field. Our players have given cent percent effort, So, We have come to this position.”
Rajani Kanta Barman said, “We reached in the final last year with a modest side. This year, we have some injury problems. Munna is injured but Wahed could recover from injury.”
Jahirul Islam said, “This tournament is only for the local players. So, the meet is entertaining for the local players. Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra are good side. Our semi-final opponents Mohammedan Sporting Club are also good. I hope we will perform well against Mohammedan. And then we will achieve the victory.”
