Dhaka – A woman and her two minor children were found dead at their residence at West Ukilpara in the district town in Feni on Monday night.The deceased were identified as Marzina Akhter, 28, wife of Italy expatriate Tarek Mahmood, and their daughter Tasnim Ahmed, 5, and son Moin Ahmed, 3.Police and locals said Marzina along with her two children used to live at the rented house at West Ukilpara in the town,UNB news agency reported.Tarek found Marzina’s mobile phone switched off after he had a tiff with her over phone on Monday afternoon.Tarek informed his brother-in-law (wife’s brother) Masum about the
incident over phone whereby he rushed to Marzina’s house only to find the door closed from inside.Later, he entered the house breaking open the door and found Marzina,Tasnim and Moin lying dead. There were rope and towels tied around the necks of the victims.On information, a team of Feni Model Police Station rushed in and recovered the three bodies from their bedroom around 8 pm, said officer-in-charge of the police station Rashed Khan Chowdhury.They will be sure after the postmortem whether the incident was a murder or suicide, he said.
