A woman and her son were killed and her husband was injured in head-on collision between their private car and a truck in Muraripur area of Paba upazila on Wednesday night, reports UNB news agency.The deceased were identified as Jebunnesa, 62, wife of Mokhlesur Rahman, 69, and their son Zahurul Islam, 42. They hailed from Shiroil Shantibagh in Rajshahi city.Witnesses said the Rajshahi-bound private car collided head-on with the truck on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway around 9:30pm.The accident left Zahurul who was on the steering dead on the spot and his parents injured.The injured couple was taken to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital where Jebunnesa succumbed to her injuries, said sub-inspector Morshedul Islam, in-charge of RMCH police.
