Miscreants hurled a motolov cocktail at the Union Parishad office at Saidabad in Sadar upazila early Friday.
Some important documents, furniture of the office were gutted in the bomb attack.Nabidul Islam, Saidabad UP Chairman and also general secretary of union unit Awami League, said a group of miscreants hurled a petrol bomb targeting the office and fled the scene.
On information, a team of police visited the spot.Legal action will be taken against those involved in the attack after investigation, said Rafiqul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.
