US Ambassador in Dhaka Dan Mozena on Saturday laid emphasis on using advanced and clean cookstoves and pledged that the US government will work with Bangladesh government and other stakeholders to help flourish the use of such cookstoves.
The US envoy was addressing a function at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the city.
USAID and Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves jointly arranged the function. International manufacturers, NGOs, donar agencies, local entrepreneurs and government officials were present.
Such clean cookstoves take less time and fuel for cooking reducing fire incidents and these are environment-friendly.-UNB
